Magnetic Drums with Rotating Envelope

• The MPTM magnetic drums with a rotating enclosure are used in production processes with high contamination of ferromagnetic metals to automatically attract and separate them from the process.

• They are typically positioned in alignment with chutes, vibrating feeders, or conveyor belts, where the production directly feeds onto the rotating enclosure of the magnetic equipment.

• Depending on the application and requirements, they can be supplied already installed in distribution boxes, inside which one or more magnetic units are mounted in a cascading arrangement to significantly improve the ferromagnetic filtering of the contaminated product.

• The drums feature a cylindrical outer enclosure with several welded drag bars. This enclosure rotates independently of the shaft. Inside the equipment, a core is mounted, composed of several arc-shaped magnetic poles made of ferrite or neodymium, which generate very powerful, constant, and intense magnetic fields. Depending on the application, the magnetic core can be manually positioned and fixed at any optimal point within the 360º of the equipment.
