Magnetic Rollers

MROD magnetic rollers are used in production processes with high contamination of ferromagnetic metals to automatically attract and separate these metals from the process. They are installed as drive drums on conveyor belts with ribbed or non-smooth surfaces, which feature edges, projections, or slats to drag and expel the attracted ferromagnetic metals from the process.

These rollers have a cylindrical outer casing without projections, fixed to the shaft, and a core composed of several vertical magnetic poles made of ferrite or neodymium. These poles generate very powerful, constant, and intense magnetic fields.

They offer high separation capacity for both small and large ferromagnetic metals. The rollers are robust, reliable, and easy to assemble. They require mechanical maintenance but are not connected to the electrical network, although the gear motor that drives them is.

Separation of attracted ferromagnetic metals is achieved automatically using the non-smooth conveyor belts, which facilitate their expulsion. A large portion of the equipment’s chassis is made of stainless steel, with other parts made of aluminum or iron. Optionally, the equipment can be supplied with anti-slip material or rubber adhered to the entire surface of the cylindrical outer casing to prevent conveyor belt slippage when wet or damp.

Various models are available depending on transport width, material and layer thickness, granulometry, density, production or flow rates, humidity, and separation requirements. These rollers are typically used in industries processing wood, plastics, mining, aggregates, ceramics, rubber, glass, and material recycling.

The rollers are supplied upon request and come with a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. They also have CE certificates of conformity according to current directives and regulations.
