Magnetic Overband
– The MPOVB magnetic overbands are used in production environments where there is a high level of ferromagnetic metal contamination to automatically extract and remove them from the process.
– They are typically installed transversely over a conveyor belt.
– They can be supplied with either an electric motor or a hydraulic motor (the latter is usually mounted on overbands intended for mobile recycling plants).
– They feature a small conveyor belt with a “self-cleaning” system using high expulsion cleats, inside which a ferrite or neodymium permanent magnet is housed, generating a powerful and constant magnetic field.
– High extraction capacity for both small and large ferromagnetic metals.
– Robust, reliable, and easy to install. They connect to the power grid and require minimal mechanical maintenance.
– The separation of the extracted ferromagnetic metals is done automatically by the “self-cleaning” belt, which facilitates their expulsion.
